This will be the ninth year that  girls from all over the country will be joining us for the Summer Leadership and Social Responsibilities Action Program, whereby they will be running 20 different summer programs for over 500 underprivileged children in the development town of Arad. The concept is very simple. 120 girls between the ages of 14 - 16 come to Arad. In the afternoon they are campers and in the morning they take over the city organizing many different social and welfare activities for underprivileged children, the elderly and special needs.

Our budget for the summer is $85,000 of which half is covered by the girls themselves. As our program is now recognized by various social agencies we are fortunate to receive various grants totalling approximately $10,000. The balance, approximately $35,000, we raise from private individuals.
